Richmond, VA—The Hampden-Sydney Rugby team traveled to Richmond Friday night for their contest against the University of Richmond Spiders. While the defense held firm for the majority of the contest, the Richmond offense was able to string together several long breakaways that eventually led to scores. H-SC was able to put together a couple of scores of their own by Tristan Leidig and Walker Clemans. However, the gap was too big to overcome, with the final score being 55-12.

The Tigers will be back at home this weekend state rival Washington and Lee. The contest will start at 11 am.
