NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College scored just before halftime to level the game, but it fell on the road to Christopher Newport University 3-1 on Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers in the second half did not find the leading goal, while Christopher Newport scored twice in 12 minutes to give H-SC its first loss.
The Tigers held the lead in both shots and shots on target in the game, while also holding a one corner advantage.
Freshman
Stig Larson (Richmond) played all 90 minutes in net, making one save.
The Tigers will be back in action on Thursday, September 18, when they play host to North Carolina Wesleyan University at 6 p.m. at Hellmuth-Gibson Field.
