Cole Palmer. After a goal from Roanoke, the Tigers responded with a quickfire double, starting with a goal from sophomore
Cameron Van Lunen (Southern Shores, NC) and finishing 46 seconds later on a goal from Conley to make it 6-2 after 15 minutes of action.
Roanoke got the scoring started in the second and responded to the two unanswered goals with two of its own over the first seven minutes. The Tigers broke the scoring run with a goal from Conley off an assist from Wood at the 7:47 mark. The Maroons answered right back, scoring three unanswered to even the game up before
Cole Palmer gave the Tigers back the lead when he finished off the feed from White. Roanoke got one more before the final whistle of the first half as the sides went into the break knotted up at eight.
Roanoke got the scoring started after halftime and came out of the gates firing, scoring five unanswered goals before the Tigers got on the board at the 2:12 mark with a goal from Mack off an assist from Hanes. 21 seconds later the Tigers struck again, as
Cole Palmer found the back of the net to cut the lead to three. Roanoke got one more before the end of the quarter as H-SC trailed 14-10 with 15 minutes remaining.
The final quarter saw the Tigers open the scoring for the first time in the game as
Cole Palmer got his hat trick on the man advantage off an assist from Conley. Roanoke answered with two goals in 30 seconds before White got his second of the night off an assist from freshman
Nick Winchell (Wilmington, DE). The Maroons added another before the Tigers scored twice in 18 seconds, starting with a goal from Wood and then Conley struck off a feed from senior
Conor Kilfeather (Wyndmoor, PA). Roanoke got one more before the final whistle as H-SC fell 18-14.
Cole Palmer scored three goals and added two assists for the Tigers while Conley added three goals with an assist. Wood had two goals and two assists, White scored two goals with an assist, and Mack scored twice. Hanes scored a goal while adding two assists and Van Lunen found the back of the net once. Kilfeather and Winchell each had an assist.

The Tigers will be back in action on Wednesday, April 16, when they travel to Virginia Beach to play Virginia Wesleyan in ODAC. The game is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. at Birdsong Field.
