Cole Palmer then got his hat trick with two straight goals, with the first coming off a pass from Hanes, and the second less than a minute later off the pass from junior Davis Mack (Henrico). Shenandoah answered with one before the end of the quarter to cut the H-SC lead to 9-3 going into the fourth.

The Hornets opened the final quarter with a goal at the 12:41 mark before Conley got his hat trick just under two minutes later off a dish from Cole Palmer.
