HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College, ranked No. 8 in the
NCAA Power Index (NPI) as well as the D3hoops.com Top 25, is the #2 seed for the upcoming
2025 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Men's Basketball Tournament that will be played February 26-March 2. The Tigers will host #7 seed the University of Lynchburg in a Quarterfinal game on Wednesday night, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. in S. Douglas Fleet Gymnasium at Kirby Field House. The semifinals and championship will be played on Saturday and Sunday, March 1-2, at the Salem Civic Center.

Caleb Kimbrough finished their regular season with an overall record of 21-4, including 14-2 in the ODAC—the third consecutive 20-win season and third-straight time that the Garnet & Grey have finished 14-2 in conference competition and earned the #2 seed for the postseason tournament. H-SC completed the regular season with 11 wins in its last 12 games overall. The Tigers have been ranked among the Top 10 in each of the NPI rankings released since Feb. 2, as well as among the Top 10 in the D3hoops.com Poll for nine consecutive rankings. In addition, H-SC has attained its 18th 20-win season in program history, and it's the first time since 1996-99 that the Tigers have accomplished three consecutive 20-win campaigns.

Lynchburg finished at 13-12 overall, including 7-9 in the ODAC. H-SC only played the Hornets one time during the regular season, winning 78-67 on January 4 at Lynchburg. The visiting Tigers led 41-34 at halftime and extended the lead to 58-43 with 11:20 remaining, before the hosts closed to within 73-67 with 1:51 left, but the Garnet & Grey secured the road win with 5-6 free throws over the final minute.

Randolph-Macon College (22-3, 15-1) is the top seed for the ODAC Tournament and will host #8 seed Shenandoah University (10-15, 5-11) on Wednesday, Feb. 26. The other two Quarterfinal contests on Feb. 26 include #3 seed Roanoke College (21-4, 14-2) hosting #6 seed Ferrum College (17-8, 9-7), and #4 seed Virginia Wesleyan University (19-6, 12-4) hosting #5 seed Guilford (NC) College (19-6, 12-4).

The ODAC Tournament Semifinals will take place on Saturday, March 1, at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., followed by the ODAC Tournament Championship game on Sunday, March 2, at 2 p.m. – the semifinals and championship being played at the Salem Civic Center.

Ticket Information for H-SC Quarterfinal
Tickets can be purchased at the Athletic Administrative Office in the Kirk Athletic Center on Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 24-25, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., and at the entrance to Fleet Gym on Wednesday, Feb. 26, beginning at 5 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, free for H-SC and Lynchburg students with their respective college IDs and free for high school students and younger.
