HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Senior Campion White (Apex, NC) scored a career-high six goals and added an assist, while freshmen Broder Conley (Duluth, GA) and Cole Palmer (Atlanta, GA) scored four goals to help lead Hampden-Sydney College to a 20-13 win over Pfeiffer (NC) University on a rainy Saturday afternoon at Hellmuth-Gibson Field.

It took just one minute and 21 seconds for the Tigers to grab the lead as White got his first of the afternoon off an assist from sophomore Kavin Wood (Cary, NC). One minute and four seconds later it was 2-0 in favor of H-SC, as Cole Palmer got his first off an assist from junior Davis Mack (Henrico). Cole Palmer made it two straight for him in less than a minute and the third unanswered for the Tigers, finishing off the pass from sophomore Alex Wagner (Cary, NC). The Falcons responded with two straight before freshman Nick Winchell (Wilmington, DE) scooped the ball off the ground and passed the goalie for his first career goal. Following a goal from Pfeiffer, White got his second while on the man-up advantage, finishing the feed from senior Griff Ray (Salem). White nailed down his hat trick 25 seconds later, spinning past a defender before firing it home. Pfeiffer got one more before the horn, but H-SC took a 6-4 lead into the second quarter.

The second quarter belonged to the Tigers, and it started within a minute as Conley got his first of the afternoon off a White feed. 15 seconds later Cole Palmer got his hat trick and pushed the lead to four as he finished the feed from freshman Riley Mullins (Glen Allen). H-SC made it three unanswered as White finished off the pass from Wagner. The goals kept coming as Ray got in the goal column on the man advantage, finishing off a Wood pass. One minute and 13 seconds later Wood went from assisting to scoring, putting home his only goal of the afternoon. Conley got his second of the afternoon with 3:50 left in the quarter after finishing off the pass from Wood. Winchell got his second of the game, finishing a Wood pass to push the Tiger lead to nine and make it seven unanswered. The Falcons got one back with 47 seconds remaining, but H-SC took a commanding 13-5 lead into halftime.

Sophomore Cameron Van Lunen (Southern Shores, NC) got the scoring started in the third quarter for the Tigers, finishing off the pass from senior Gaines Weis (Richmond). White pushed the lead to 10 as he finished off a solo effort. The Falcons responded to being down 10 by getting three straight goals, before Weis grabbed his second assist of the quarter, facilitating Conley's hat trick goal. Pfeiffer got a goal to close out the quarter with 10 seconds left, but H-SC took a 16-9 lead into the final 15 minutes.

White opened the scoring for the second time in four quarters, scoring a solo effort for his sixth goal of the contest.
