HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College is ranked No. 8 nationally in the week seven D3hoops.com Top 25. The Tigers, ranked 10th last week, earned 410 points in this week's poll. H-SC is 13-3 overall, 6-1 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC), and remains among the Top 10 for the fifth consecutive ranking.

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville (15-1) is ranked first for the third-straight week with 616 points, including 17 first-place votes, followed by Emory (GA) University (13-1, 598, 5) at No. 2, defending NCAA Division III National Champion Trine (IN) University (14-1, 569, 2) at No. 3, Wesleyan (CT) University (18-0, 546, 1) at No. 4, Illinois Wesleyan University (14-2, 508) at No. 5, New York University (13-1, 470) at No. 6, Wisconsin Lutheran College (14-1, 417) at No. 7, H-SC at No. 8, Tufts (MA) University (16-2, 406) at No. 9 and the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse (13-3, 387) at No. 10. Fellow ODAC member Randolph-Macon College (13-3, 342) is ranked among the Top 25 at No. 13, while Roanoke College (48), Virginia Wesleyan University (31) and Guilford (NC) College (8) are each receiving votes in the poll.

H-SC is scheduled to play on the road at Randolph College in conference action on Wednesday night, January 22, at 7:30 p.m. in Lynchburg.
