Farmville, VA After a long wait in Fairfax the H-SC Rugby preseason match vs George Mason finally had to be canceled due to the storms that continued to move through the area last Saturday. Luckily for the Tigers they will get to line up again this Saturday in nearby Farmville on what looks to be a beautiful day. Both Longwood and Old Dominion are currently in a developmental stage in there programs, so Saturday's matches will be carried out in an unusual format. Known as a "friendly", ODU and Longwood's squads will combine to play the Tigers. There will be rolling subs, providing an opportunity for play for all. While the contests will officially be recorded as forfeit wins for Hampden-Sydney, this style will allow for match-level play for all three teams. Longwood's rugby field is located at 407 1st Avenue in Farmville and play will begin at 1:00 PM and continue for three thirty-minute sessions.
