It's already the ninth contest among 14 overall to be played away from campus this season. H-SC is 9-4 overall, 4-1 in the ODAC, while SU is 2-9 overall, 0-3 in the ODAC. Head Coach Caleb Kimbrough
H-SC is led by the fourth-year head coach who took over the program on April 4, 2019. The former head coach at Huntingdon (AL) College from 2016-19, Kimbrough is the 19th head coach in the 113-year history of the storied Hampden-Sydney program. He is no stranger to the ODAC, having played four years at Guilford (NC) College and coached six years with the Quakers, and one year at Washington and Lee University. Caleb is 39-32 overall at the College, including 21-20 in ODAC games.

Davidson Hubbard (Charlotte, NC) with his 13.3 points and 7.1 rebounds, followed by senior guard
Ryan Clements (Conyers, GA) (11.8 points, 4.0 rebounds), along with junior guard and team captain
Adam Brazil (Mooresville, NC) (10.7 points, 3.9 assists, 24 3FGs). The Tigers are shooting 47% (373-812) from the field, including 37% (112-304) on three-point field goals, and 72% (149-206) at the free throw line. H-SC averages 77.5 points, and allow 67.2 points, for a +10.3 scoring margin.
Scouting Shenandoah
The Hornets are coached by first-year head coach Nick Doyle. SU has dropped six-straight contests, including its most recent game at Ferrum, 75-71 in double-overtime, on Jan. 4. The Hornets have two players averaging in double-figure scoring, led by junior guard Malik Jordan with his 14.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists, followed by senior guard Davion Roberts (14.0 points, 6.5 rebounds). SU shoots 36% (226-632) from the field, including 27% (64-238) on three-pointers, and 70% (150-213) at the line; scoring 60.5 points, and yielding 65.9 points, for a -5.4 scoring margin.
Series History
H-SC leads the all-time series, 17-4, including 11-3 in ODAC regular season games. The Tigers have won seven-straight against the Hornets, and eight of the last nine games in the series, including the most recent
86-71 home win in the first round of the 2022 ODAC Tournament last February 21. The two schools first met in the 1989 NCAA South Atlantic Regional in Ewing, New Jersey, an 80-78 win by H-SC.

Miles Harris (Virginia Beach) and senior guard
Chase Turner (Virginia Beach), along with
Adam Brazil. Turner is serving in the leadership role for his second season, while Harris and Brazil are first-year captains. Chase is the son of Samuel and Demia Turner and is majoring in government with a minor in leadership in the public interest. Miles is the son of Randy Harris and Corey Bacs and is majoring in economics and business. Adam is the son of Mark and Kristen Brazil and is majoring in English.

H-SC features 21 student-athletes from six different states and the District of Columbia. Leading the way with the most Tigers is North Carolina with six, followed by Virginia (4), Georgia (4) and Tennessee (4), along with Florida (1), Maryland (1) and D.C. (1).

H-SC currently has three former basketball team members and graduates of the College that are serving as NCAA Division I head coaches.
Russell Turner '92 is in his 13th year at UC Irvine ...
Ryan Odom '96 is in his second season at Utah State and his seventh season as a DI head coach (UMBC) ...
Griff Aldrich '96 is in his fifth year at Longwood. Entering this season, Turner was 242-158 at UCI ... Odom was 115-76 overall, including 18-16 at USU and 97-60 over five years at UMBC ... Aldrich was 68-60 at Longwood.
