Douglas Fleet Gymnasium at Kirby Field House. H-SC is 10-6 overall, 5-4 in the ODAC, while the Hornets are 3-14 overall, 2-6 in the ODAC. Head Coach Caleb Kimbrough
H-SC is led by the third-year head coach who took over the program on April 4, 2019. The former head coach at Huntingdon College (AL) from 2016-19, Kimbrough is the 19th head coach in the 112-year history of the storied Hampden-Sydney program. He is no stranger to the ODAC, having played four years at Guilford College (NC) and coached six years with the Quakers, and one year at Washington and Lee University. Caleb is 26-23 overall at the College, including 14-15 in ODAC games.

The Tigers dropped their most recent contest to nationally-ranked No. 1 Randolph-Macon,
83-63, on Jan. 27 in Fleet Gym~~a contest truly much closer than the final score indicated. H-SC has three players averaging in double figures among seven scoring at least 6.8 points per game. Junior guard
Ryan Clements (Conyers, GA) leads the balanced-scoring team with his 12.6 points, adding 4.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists, followed by fifth-year forward and team captain
Jake Hahn (Ruckersville) (12.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists) and sophomore forward
Davidson Hubbard (Charlotte, NC) (11.3 points, 6.4 rebounds). The Tigers are shooting 45% (451-997) from the field, including 34% (129-381) on three-point field goals, and 72% (205-286) at the free throw line. H-SC is averaging 77.3 points, and allowing 69.6 points, for a +7.6 scoring margin.
Scouting Shenandoah
The Hornets are coached by fifth-year head coach Adam Walsh and last played on Jan. 26 at home against ODAC member Roanoke, falling 80-71 in overtime. SU has dropped four straight games and nine of its last 10 games overall. The Hornets have been led by junior guard Jaylen Williams (24 3FGs), who is averaging 21.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.4 steals. SU shoots 39% (415-1073) from the field, including 26% (88-333) on three-pointers, and 68% (231-338) at the line; scoring 67.6 points, and yielding 79.6 points, for a -12.0 scoring margin.
Series History vs. Shenandoah
H-SC leads the all-time series, 14-4, including 9-3 in ODAC games since 2012-13 when SU joined the conference. The Tigers have won four-straight against the Hornets, and five of the last six games in the series, including a
61-56 road win on February 1, 2020 in Winchester. The two schools first met in the 1989 NCAA Tournament's South Atlantic Regional, won by H-SC 80-78.

H-SC Mask Policy
The College's current
mask policy is that all individuals – both vaccinated and unvaccinated – are required to wear masks inside campus buildings when others are nearby (within 6 feet). Unvaccinated individuals are also required to maintain social distancing at all times. Campus visitors must abide by these precautions as well.
