HOW IT HAPPENED

• Turnovers played the Tigers throughout the game as Brockport converted 29 Tiger giveaways into 28 points
• Both teams got off to a slow start with the Golden Eagles leading just 10-7 with 12:51 to play in the first half
• Brockport gradually began to pull away shortly afterward, capitalizing off turnovers and missed layups, and built a 14-point advantage, 30-16, at the 7:50 mark.
• The lead ballooned to as much as 18 in the first half before H-SC went into intermission down 47-31
• Brockport briefly led by 21 early in the second half and still held a 17-point lead, 65-48, with 12:06 to play
• Logan Samuels scored six of H-SC's points in an 8-0 run over the next two minutes to find themselves down by only nine, but Brockport responded with the next five to go back up 14, 70-56, at 9:20
• H-SC chipped away at the lead and trailed just 77-67 after two Guilherme Guimaraes free throw at 3:20 but were unable to get the deficit to below double digits the rest of the way

• Guimaraes narrowly missed out on a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds.
• Jake Duncan tallied 14 points and seven rebounds
• Nick Chase had 11 points to go with four rebounds
• Samuels contributed 10 points, six rebounds, and four assists
• Kevin Quinn came off the bench to notch 10 points
• Jack Costigan totaled seven points

• Clifton Lyerly exploded for 30 points, six rebounds, and six steals
• Hamed Shamseldin added 19 points
