2010: A captain this season, Plyler will look to continue establishing himself as one of the best goalies in the ODAC and the region ... He is both skilled and athletic and has great poise between the pipes ... Plyler possesses the ability to control the flow of the game and shutdown opponents ... Will be a large part in how the Tigers perform in 2010.

Career:  Ranks fifth in H-SC history for career saves and second in career shutouts, needing seven shutouts to hold the record ... Improved tremendously in his junior year, earning Second Team All-ODAC and ODAC All-Tournament Team honors ... Started all 20 matches, recording 69 saves while allowing just 12 goals ... his 0.61 goals against average, .852 save percentage, and nine shutouts led the ODAC and the nine shutouts is the second most in H-SC single season history ... ranked 19th in D3 in goals against average and 29th in save percentage ... posted a season-high seven saves in the regular season finale against Roanoke College ... Had a remarkable sophomore season as starting keeper as a sophomore... Recorded 54 saves ... Has an impressive 0.93 goals-against-average which was fourth in the ODAC ... His five shutouts were good for third in conference ... In 2007, earned the starting goalkeeper role six matches into the season, going on to post a remarkable 10-2-2 record in 15 appearances ... grabbed ODAC Rookie of the Year accolades in addition to his VaSID all-state Rookie of the Year honor in 2007 ... Registered a 0.89 goals-against-average, good for fourth in the ODAC ... His four shutouts ranked second in the conference.
