2010: Saw great improvement in the spring and could see an incresed role in the midfield as a sophomore.

Career: Received playing time in five contests as a sophomore ... Saw action in five games in 2008.

High School/Club: Three-year varsity soccer letterman at Patrick Henry High School ... A team captain his senior season, Murphey spent time in both midfield and defense ... Played two years of golf for the Patriots under Coach Frank Dow, lettering in both seasons ... Played six years of club soccer under coaches Kyle Lessig and Lee Cowlishaw of the Richmond Kickers Elite and four years of Super-Y for Coach Ihor Dotsenko.
