2010: One of the most aggressive, scrappy players on the Tiger roster, Hughes will fill the void left by Jason Powell ... With blazing speed, Hughes can cause many problems for opposing defenses ... He has the potential to have a great season and be a return member of the All-ODAC Team. 

Career: Tied for second on the squad in goals (5) and registered two assists to place third on the team in points (12) as a sophomore ... also netted two game-winning goals, one against Averett and the other at the hands of Washington & Lee ... had a two-goal performance against Washington & Lee in the quarterfinals of the ODAC Tournament ... Had a breakout freshman year appearing in all 19 games, starting in two ... Proved himself to be on of the most aggressive, scrappy players on the Tiger roster ... notched four goals and one assist ... Often played up top, but also showed he could play outside.

High School/Club: A four-year member of Cosby High School’s soccer team, Hughes was twice named all-district, once hailed all-metro and once garnered all-region accolades ... Named all-academic in all four years ... Led the Titans in scoring as a sophomore and junior while helping Cosby to the Dominion District title in 2006 and 2008 ... Member of the 2007 VHSL AAA quarterfinalist squad.
