- Cousin, Thomas Davis, is a starting outside linebacker for the Carolina Panthers of the NFL. He played at the University of Georgia where he was named a consensus First-Team All-American in 2004 and drafted 14th overall in the 2005 NFL Draft.
- Cousin, Donnell Harvey, was named the high school basketball Naismith Player of the Year in 1999 as well as a McDonald's All-American. He played one year at the University of Florida and has been playing professional basketball since 2000, including stints with five different NBA teams.
