• Played on the football, track, and lacrosse varsity teams along with two seasons of JV basketball
• Lacrosse team was state runner up in both 2014 and 2015 while football reached the state tournament semifinals in 2012 and 2014
• Two-time All-Metro, All-State, and All-Prep in football
• All-Metro and All-Prep in track
• Member of Amped Lax for two season
• Selected for the King of the Hill Tournament All-Star game in 2014
• Ampex Lax finished runner up in the King of the Hill tournament in 2014

• A kicker on the Hampden-Sydney football team

• Son of Tommy and Claire Cottrell
• Has one brother, Sam, and one sister, Isa
• Mother played soccer at Randolph-Macon
• Father graduated from H-SC in 1982 and brother is on pace to graduate from H-SC in 2018

WHY DID I HOOSE H-SC?

• "I loved the small school feel and academic environment. Being able to play both football and lacrosse here played a large roll in my decision as well."
