2015 SEASON
- Became just the eighth Hampden-Sydney student-athlete and fifth lacrosse player to become a three-time All-American
- Top vote receiver among all midfielders for All-ODAC for the second year in a row
- Led the team in goals with 32 while ranking second in points with 43
- Posted a season high six points on five goals and an assist against Mary Washington
- Concluded his career ranking seventh in H-SC history in career goals, 10th in career points, and third in career midfielder points
2014 SEASON
- Top vote receiver among all midfielders for All-ODAC
- Tallied 46 points on 30 goals and 16 assists, the 12th best single-season total for a midfielder in H-SC history
- Posted at least one point in all but one game and two or more points in 15 of 18
- Totalled a season-high four points four games
- Scored a season-high three goals four times, including against Lynchburg in the ODAC Championship
2013 SEASON
- One of numerous players to have a breakout year on the squad, Armstrong led the team in points with 49 and goals with 36
- Additionally, he took on an increased workload on the defensive end, even getting in work with a longpole midway through the season
- Posted a career-high five goals against Randolph-Macon in the ODAC Tournament and contributed three or more points in 12 games, including a streak of seven games.
2012 SEASON
- Had a strong and promising freshman season that saw him contribute 22 points on 17 goals and five assists
- Had a season-best three goals against both Roanoke and Randolph and also had a three-point game (2g, 1a) at Washington & Lee
- Contributed at least one point in 12 of his 16 games played.

- Three year midfielder on the lacrosse team at Charlotte Latin
- Two-Time All-American and All-State honoree
- All-Conference all three seasons
- Team MVP in 2011 and 2010
- All-time leading scorer for Charlotte Latin
- Played for two years on Team Carolina as a midfielder
- Two-year football player at Charlotte Latin
- Played at running back and defensive back
- 2010 All-State Running Back and Offensive MVP
- Football team was State Champions in 2009 and Runner Up in 2010
