Biography

2011: Will return as the Tigers’ main threat on the basepaths...Williams will also start in the outfield.

2010: Earned Honorable Mention All-ODAC, All-Tournament Team, and Second Team All-Region after leading the nation in stolen bases-per-game with 34 swipes in 34 games...Had the highest batting average of all returning starters hitting .423...Tallied 60 hits with two doubles, six triples and four homers...Led the team in runs with 44...Batted in 25 runs and was walked 16 times with 142 at bats.

2009: Made an immediate impact earning Second Team All-ODAC, Second Team VaSID All-State and All-Tournament Team honors...Batted .377 in 151 at bats...Set school records with 33 stolen bases in 39 attempts and nine triples...Added two doubles and one homerun while scoring a team-high 41 runs and driving in 23 more.

2008: An outfielder for Danville Community College, Williams set a number of school records on his way to earning first team all-conference recognition...Set new marks for stolen bases (60), runs scored (84), triples (10), walks (44) and on-base percentage (.505).

High School: A two-year letterman for Coach Scooter Dunn at George Washington High, Williams earned all-metro honors as a centerfielder...Also played two years for the Eagles’ football team and Coach Dan Newell.
