Assistant Coach Bryce Serriello enters his second season with Hampden-Sydney Lacrosse in 2020-21.

““I am excited to welcome Coach Serriello to the Tiger lacrosse family,” said Rostan. “Bryce was a tremendous player who was mentored and highly recommended by Coach Keith Bugbee (Springfield College), one of the most respected men in our sport. He is passionate about the game and guiding student-athletes; his leadership will be a major asset for our program on and off the field as well as in recruiting.”

Serriello worked with the offense and defense as well as running man up and substitution box duties the past three years at Falmouth High School in Massachusetts.

“First off I’d like to thank Coach Rostan for giving me the opportunity to join his staff,” said Serriello. “I am excited to be a part of the Hampden-Sydney community, and honored to be a part of the rich history this program has to offer.”

Prior to this time at Falmouth, Serriello was the assistant lacrosse coach at Barnstable High School working as the offensive coordinator. He organized and created the daily practice plans and coordinated travel plans.

Serriello also spent three years as the assistant director of Cape Cod Lacrosse, from June 2013 until February 2016. While with the organization he was the head of shooting clinics as well as created schedules for all activities including camps, clinics, leagues and select teams.

Serriello was a two-time All-America Honorable Mention at Springfield College as well as a three-time First Team All-NEWMAC selection. As a senior with the Pride, Serriello led the team in goals with 43. Prior to Springfield, Serriello spent one year at American International College where he was named NE-10 Rookie of the Year in 2012 after scoring 35 goals which was fourth in the conference.

Serriello graduated from Springfield in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in General Studies with a concentration in sport and recreation management.
