2013: Finished his career in fine fashion as one of the top four defenders in the ODAC ... Sheppard, a captain, was the leader of a Tiger defense that was second in the ODAC in goals against average in 2013 ... He forced a career-high 15 turnovers, including four against Randolph.

2012: Had the best season yet of his career en route to earning Second-Team All-ODAC honors ... Arguably the best defender on the team as a junior, Sheppard consistently was held responsible for defending some of the best offensive threats in the country ... Played in 16 games, tallying 32 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers.

2011: One of the top defenders on the team ... Played in all 17 games ... Scooped 20 ground balls and forced six turnovers ... Had four ground balls against Catholic and three against Virginia Wesleyan and Roanoke in the ODAC Tournament ... Forced three turnovers against Christopher Newport.

2010: Saw action in 10 games on the defense in 2010 ... Scooped up three groundballs with three caused turnovers.

High School: Earned 1st Team All-State on defense for perennial Colorado power, Kent Denver High School ... He was also an exceptional goalie for Kent Denver's soccer team.

Personal: History major ... Son of Tracy Sheppard ... Has one sibling, Aaron.
