2010-11: Ward was a solid scoring option as a sophomore finishing fourth on the team in scoring at 8.3 points-per-game. Also added 2.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists-per-game. Played 25.1 minutes-per-game in 27 contests. Knocked down 69 of his 175 field goal attempts (.394), 34 of his 101 three-point attempts (.337) and 52 of his 61 free throw attempts (.852). His 85.2% accuracy from the foul line was a team best. Scored in double figures on 11 occasions, including 19 against Medaille, 17 against #6 Virginia Wesleyan, and 17 against Methodist.  

2009-10: Ward made an immediate impact as a freshman, playing in all 26 games while starting in five. Was sixth on the team scoring 5.4 points-per-game while tallying 1.7 assists-per-game. Scored in double-digits twice, with 10 points against North Carolina Wesleyan and a career-high 14 points over Emory & Henry. Recorded career-highs in rebounds (5) and assists (7) against Washington Adventist University. Was solid from the free throw line, making 16 of his 19 attempts (84.2%). Shot 39.4% (52-132) from the floor and 32.3% (20-62) from beyond the arc.

High School/AAU Career: Attended Richmond Community High School and played for his zone school John Marshall High School in Richmond, VA. Earned first Team all-district, all-academic district and region, 2nd team all-metro, and was named to the Digital Sports 1st team as a point guard. Also played for the Richmond Metro AAU squad.

Personal: Born January 20, 1991. Son of Randall W. Ward Sr. and Audrey L. Ross. Has five siblings, Brandon (25), Ravell (18), Austin (18), Brianna (16), and De'Shante (8).
