2013-14 SEASON

• Played in 24 games with 13 starts
• Continued to excel as a perimeter defender
• Scored 17 points with seven rebounds in the win over EasternMennonite in the ODAC Tournament. Also scored nine atGuilford.

2012-13 SEASON

• Experienced a breakout year as a junior
• Played in 26 games while starting 20 for 21.0 minutes percontest
• Became the team's lockdown perimeter defender and was tabbedthe team's Defensive Player of the Year
• Posted a season career-high in every statistical category
• Totaled a season-high 13 points against Randolph-Macon andseven rebounds vs. Lynchburg
• Also totaled a career-high eight assists against Washington& Lee.

2011-12 SEASON

• Missed most of the first semester due to injury but came backin the second half to be a strong reserve player
• Played in 15 games, averaging 3.5 points
• Shot 55.6% overall and made an astounding 14 of his 18two-point attempts
• Scored a season-best 16 points against Patrick Henry
• Also tallied a season-high five rebounds against Randolph.

2010-11 SEASON

• Wetzel provided a nice spark off the bench in 24 games, scoredthe second most points for a freshman last year
• He averaged 2.2 points to go with 1.4 rebounds in 8.8 minutesof action each game
• Scored a career-high seven points twice, once against Roanokeand again against Bridgewater
• A solid shooter, Wetzel was 45.5% from the floor (15-33), 33.3%from beyond the arc (4-12), and a team-best 85.7% from the freethrow line (18-21)
• Also dished out 18 assists. 

HIGH SCHOOL

• Four year basketball and track letter winner at EasternAlamance High School
• Named All-Conference twice in basketball and three times intrack, specializing in the hurdling event
• As a senior, averaged 13 points, ten rebounds and five assistson the hardwood
• Also played one year for the Mid-State Magic AAU team.
