Thomas Robinson is in his first year as an assistant football coach at Hampden-Sydney College during 2025-26, serving as the running backs coach. He previously served as an assistant coach at Appomattox County High School for eight years from 2015-20, and again from 2023-24, additionally serving as the head coach at Appomattox County Middle School for three years (2016-18).
Robinson helped coach ACHS to five Virginia High School League (VHSL) Class 2A State Championships in six years (2015-17, 2019-20). The Raiders combined overall record during their five VHSL title seasons was 66-3, including unbeaten seasons in 2015 (15-0), 2016 (15-0) and 2020 (9-0, played in spring ’21 due to COVID-19).
A native of Pamplin, Thomas graduated from Longwood University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science degree in health and physical education. He earned his Associate’s Degree in education from Central Virginia Community College in 2023.
