Casey Collins is in his first year as the running backs coach at Hampden-Sydney during 2019.  He previously served as a student assistant coach at FCS member Towson University in Towson, Maryland since 2017.

Collins helped with the offense and special teams at Towson, including offseason offensive film breakdown as well as the opponent’s special teams during the season.  He was also involved with recruiting for the Tigers.

Collins served as an assistant coach for the Junior Varsity at Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, Maryland during 2016, working with quarterbacks, receivers and running backs.  He also coached in the Maryland Crab Bowl, an annual postseason all-star game that features some of the most outstanding players in the state of Maryland, after the 2014 and 2015 seasons.  Collins began his coaching career with multiple youth football teams from both Olney and Rockville, Maryland.

A native of Silver Spring, Maryland, Casey earned his Bachelor of Science degree in communication studies from Towson in 2018.
