FOREST, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College has placed a record-breaking 145 student-athletes on the
2025-26 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) All-Academic Team. The previous high for the Tigers was 125 recognized during 2024-25. A total of 3,308 student-athletes dot this season's lists, the third consecutive year with more than 3,000, which ranks second all-time behind the 3,364 honorees from 2024-25 and ahead of the 3,175 standouts that comprised the 2023-24 contingent. Overall, this is the eighth straight year and ninth in the last 10 that the ODAC's final total has eclipsed 2,000 honorees.
The ODAC All-Academic Team is composed of eligible student-athletes from each of the 14 full-time institutions and five associate members that contributed to the conference's 26 sponsored championship sports. Eligibility for the ODAC All-Academic Team is open to any student-athlete that competes in a conference-sponsored sport, regardless of academic class. Prospective honorees must achieve at least a 3.25 grade point average for the academic year to be considered for ODAC All-Academic Team recognition.
