HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College won all nine matches between singles and doubles play to take a 7-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) victory over Randolph-Macon College on Thursday afternoon.

Ben Price (Charlotte, NC) grabbed a 6-2 win.

Rice was the first to finish in singles action, taking both sets 6-0, with Woerner not far behind with two straight 6-1 set wins. McReynolds took a 6-2, 6-0 win from the second singles slot, while Price took a 6-0 first set win and followed it up with a 6-1 second set win. Sophomore
Landon Bivens (Lynchburg) jumped out to an early lead in the sixth singles match with a 6-1 win in set one, then followed up with a close 6-4 set two win to take the match. The final match saw Davis fall behind early with a 6-2 loss, but battled back with a 6-1 win in the second set to force a third. In the third set, he won the 10-point tiebreaker 10-4 to take the match 2-6, 6-1, 1(10)-0(4).

The Tigers will be back in action on Saturday, April 25, when they close out the regular season on the road against the University of Lynchburg at 1 p.m. in ODAC action at E.C. Glass High School.
