ORLANDO, Fl. -- Hampden-Sydney College won all its singles and doubles matches to take a 7-0 victory over Otterbein (OH) University on Tuesday morning.

The Tigers got things rolling with two straight 6-4 victories, the first coming from the top doubles slot pairing of senior
Dillon McReynolds (Abingdon) and junior
Thomas Davis (Charlotte, NC), and the second from the number two slot pairing of sophomores
Jonathan Fogle (Midlothian) and
Emerson Rice (Columbia, SC). Freshmen
Slade Funderburk (Camden, SC) and
Sam Robinson (Charlotte, NC) completed the doubles sweep with a 6-2 win.

Davis led off singles action with a 6-2, 6-4 win in the top slot, and was followed by a three-set win by McReynolds of 6-4, 5-7, 1(11)-0(9). Rice grabbed a 6-4, 7-5 win in the third singles slot, with Robinson cruising to a 6-2, 6-0 win in the number four singles. Funderburk secured a 6-2, 6-3 win in the fifth singles slot, and freshman
Ben Price (Charlotte, NC) swept both sets 6-0 to take the win.

The Tigers will be back in action later this afternoon, March 10, when they take on West Chester (PA) University at 1 p.m. in Orlando, Florida.Â
