HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College moved up one spot and is ranked No. 4 nationally in the week 10 D3hoops.com Top 25, its highest ranking this season. The Tigers, ranked fifth last week, earned 512 points in this week's poll. H-SC is 19-3 overall, 12-1 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC), and remains among the Top 10 for the eighth consecutive ranking. The Tigers have won nine-straight games and 11 of their last 12 games overall.

Wesleyan (CT) University (22-0) is ranked first again this week with 624 points, including 24 first-place votes, followed by New York University (19-1, 591) at No. 2, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville (19-2, 584, 1) at No. 3, H-SC at No. 4, Emory (GA) University (17-3, 481) at No. 5, St. John's (MN) University (19-2, 460) at No. 6, Wisconsin Lutheran College (20-1, 455) at No. 7, fellow ODAC member Randolph-Macon College (19-3, 448) at No. 8, the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse (17-4, 434) at No. 9 and Trinity (CT) College (19-3, 401) at No. 10. ODAC members Roanoke College (27) and Virginia Wesleyan University (9) are each receiving votes in the poll.

H-SC is scheduled to welcome conference opponent Guilford (NC) College on Wednesday night, February 12, at 7 p.m. in S. Douglas Fleet Gymnasium at Kirby Field House. It will be a "Whiteout Wednesday" as everyone is encouraged to wear white attire. As a reminder, it's free admission for all regular season home athletic contests at the College.
