Nick Beaudoin (Norfolk) and junior
Dillon McReynolds (Abingdon) were named
2024 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Men's Scholar-Athletes. To be eligible, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the current academic year.
Beaudoin is a double major in Biology and Economics with a minor in Chemistry at the college, going into his senior year. On the court, Beaudoin posted a 2-1 singles record this season and a 1-2 doubles record. Off the court, Beaudoin is a Dean's List student and has been named to the 2020-21 and 2023-24 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) All-Academic Team.
McReynolds is a Biology major and Neuroscience minor at the college. McReynolds is a two-year member of the tennis team and was named team captain in the fall. This spring, McReynolds posted a 7-11 singles record between the one and two singles and a 7-11 record between the one and two doubles. Off the court, McReynolds is a member of two professional fraternities, Alpha Chi Sigma and Alpha Epsilon Delta. He is involved with the Garnet and Grey Society, and the Pre-Health Society, and will be stepping into the Vice President role next year for the Hampden-Sydney Mentor Program. Dillon is a Dean's List student and member of the 2022-23 and 2023-24 ODAC All-Academic teams.
