LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Hampden-Sydney College tennis team dropped a road Old Dominion Athletic Conference match up with Randolph College, 5-4, on Thursday afternoon. The match was moved to an indoor facility due to inclement weather in Lynchburg at the start of the match.
Despite only having four available players, Randolph was about to pick up wins at the top two doubles spots as well at one, three and four singles to earn the win. Senior Andrew Donelson/McLean won his singles match at the second spot 7-6 (5), 7-6 (5).
The Tigers (1-4, 0-3 ODAC) host Shenandoah University on Friday, March 26th. The ODAC match with the Hornets gets underway at 4 p.m. from the Tiger Tennis Courts.
