Jihanna Lane is in her fourth year at Hampden-Sydney College during 2025-26, and was named the Head Athletic Trainer in May 2025, after serving in the interim role since December 2024. Jihanna had previously served as an assistant athletic trainer and has primary sport responsibility for basketball, golf, swimming and club rugby.
Lane earned her Master of Science degree from the University of Lynchburg in May of 2022. While a graduate student, she completed clinical rotations at the University of North Carolina (Track and Field, 2022), at Heritage High School in Lynchburg (baseball, boys and girls basketball, football, boys and girls soccer, softball, tennis, track and field, volleyball, wrestling, 2021), at Liberty University (men's soccer, 2021) and at the University of Lynchburg (men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, men’s lacrosse, and men's and women's track and field, 2020-21).
A native of Red House, Virginia, Jihanna earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Health Studies from James Madison University in 2017. Lane is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer and licensed in the state of Virginia.
