(December 11, 2008) HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA – Junior forward Will Robertson (Charlotte, NC/Charlotte Catholic) and sophomore defender Matt Swaney (Potomac Falls, VA/Potomac Falls) continue to pile on accolades as they have both been placed on the 2008 VaSID All-State team for their stellar play this season. Robertson and Swaney each were awarded first team honors and both were key parts of the Tigers' successful 12-6-1 season.

Robertson earned first team honors after a breakout year in 2008. The junior forward not only had career highs in goals (8) and assists (7), but his 23 points were good for second on the team, and his seven assists lead the team. Robertson also garners 2008 first team All-ODAC and second team All-Region honors.

Swaney also received first team All-State honors after he helped anchor a stifling Tiger defense. The sophomore was a center back in a defense that gave up less than ten shots against per contest and a 0.93 goals against average. Swaney also contributed on the offensive side scoring five goals - three of them being game winners. Swaney was also awarded with first team All-ODAC and third team All-Region honors.
