"Our three seniors have done a nice job leading our young team through the summer and into our fall preseason," stated Head Coach Dee Vick. "They have earned their teammate's respect and our coaching staff has full confidence they are prepared for this opportunity; therefore, we decided to name all three captains for the 2017-2018 season. Gui gives us great energy and plays with a passion that is contagious. Hunter has worked consistently on his post game and has developed a great jump hook. He plays hard on every possession, leads by example, and when he speaks, his teammates listen. Nick is in great shape and has the necessary toughness to succeed in this league. His unselfishness and nose for the ball are key ingredients that make him an effective leader and a strong rebounder. All three are ready to have a great senior year and we will go as far as they lead us. It is their team."
