Corbett Leads Tigers in Builder Invitational

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA-Sophomore Caleb Corbett (Chesapeake, VA/Hickory) paced the Tigers while winning the 157-pound weight class for the second consecutive year in the Builder Invitational, hosting by the Apprentice School. Freshman Andrew Riley (Manassas, VA/Osbourn Park) also saw success in the 157-pound weight class, finishing in fourth place.

Freshman Jacob Justus (Damascus, VA/Holston) also had a fourth place finish in the 285-pound weight class.

The Tigers had four other grapplers compete, with freshmen Austin Carlson (Orwigsburg, PA/Blue Mountain) and Alek Schuyler (Virginia Beach, VA/First Colonial) competing in the 197-pound weight class, freshman Norjon Hedman (Virginia Beach, VA/First Colonial) in the 174-pound weight class, and sophomore David Sniffen (Manassas, VA/Osbourn Park) in the 165-pound weight class.

The Tigers will compete next on Saturday, February 10 at Greensboro College.
