    The Hampden-Sydney wrestling team competed in the Builder’s Duals on Sunday. The short-handed Tigers fell 42-18 to VMI, 27-11 to JMU, and 46-9 to the Apprentice School.

    The Hampden-Sydney wrestling team squared off against Washington & Lee and Johns Hopkins at McDaniel College on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers fell 39-15 to the Generals and 49-3 to Johns Hopkins.

    The Hampden-Sydney wrestlers had a strong outing on January 22 in the Builder's Invitational Tournament, hosted by the Newport News Apprentice School. The Tigers finished fourth overall, missing third place by just half a point.

    The Hampden-Sydney wrestling team traveled to Greensboro College on December 17 to face both Greensboro and McDaniel. Due to injuries, the Tigers compete with six members.

    The Hampden-Sydney wrestling team competed in a tri-meet with Southern Virginia and Division II Ohio Valley on Saturday, December 3 at Southern Virginia. The Tigers fell 33-15 to Ohio Valley but bounced back with a 33-16 win over Southern Virginia.

    The Hampden-Sydney wrestling team competed in the Star City Open this weekend, hosted by Ferrum College at the Hotel Roanoke. The Tigers competed with nine wrestlers and saw two place.

    The Hampden-Sydney wrestling team opened its 2016-17 season on Saturday as four Tigers competed in the Casperson Classic, hosted by Southern Virginia. The tournament featured 14 teams, and all four Tigers won at least one match.
