Hampden-Sydney Cross Country placed fifth at the Hornet Harrier Invitational hosted by Shenandoah University at Kernstown Battlefield.

TIGERS TOP FIVE PERFORMERS

  • Lewis Brooks led the Tigers with a time of 29:13.2 in the 8K race, placing 11th overall
  • Sean Gustafson clocked in at 31:40.6 to place 27th
  • John Dyke crossed the finish line in 32:24.7 for 34th place
  • Bennett Diggs completed the course in 33:08.5 to take 37th place
  • Ian Tiblin rounded out the scoring, placing 42nd with a pace of 34:09.1

OTHER TOP PERFORMERS

  • Michael Myers of Southern Virginia took home top medalist honors at 26:21.3

  • Hampden-Sydney will return to Kernstown Battlefield on October 27 to compete in the ODAC Championship at 10 am.
