Hampden-Sydney Tennis won their fourth consecutive match as they overpowered St. Mary's 8-1 on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Tigers swept all three doubles matches, including an 8-1 win by the Moody Twins at the #1 flight
  • Clark Cummings and Harrison Stone teamed to take an 8-5 win at #2
  • Trent Singleton and Levy Young notched a 9-8 (10-5) "W" at the #3 spot
  • Matthew Moody dispatched of Jonathan Gorel 6-2, 6-2 at the #1 spot
  • Michael Moody clinched the match for the Tigers at the #2 flight by a score of 6-2, 6-4
  • Cummings rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 win at #4
  • Young posted the Tigers third winning 6-2, 6-4 score at the #5 spot
  • Stone handled Zach Talamonti 6-1, 6-1 at #6

UP NEXT

  • Hampden-Sydney heads east towards Virginia Beach for spring break. The Tigers will play Salisbury University on Monday at 6 pm at the Princess Anne Country Club.
