Swimming dominated the six-team field to win the Greensboro College Invitational. The Tigers outscored the second-place team by over 200 points (736.5 – 496).

TIGERS TOP PERFORMANCES

  • Woody Parsons won the 500 yard freestyle in 5:05.10
  • Jason Covaney took the top spot in the 400 yard IM, finishing in 5:08.18
  • Parsons picked up another win in the 200 yard freestyle as he clocked in at 1:50.89
  • Hudson Elmore finished in 1:02.01 to win the 100 yard backstroke
  • Parsons, AJ Howard, Eric Hope, and Anthony Vinson team to emerge victorious at the 800 yard freestyle relay at 7:51.34
  • Elmore earned his second individual victory of the weekend with a 2:14.96 in the 200 yard backstroke
  • Parsons three-peated at the 1650 yard freestyle with a time of 17:41.97 for the top spot
