WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Senior captain John Burke/Richmond had five goals and four assists, and sophomore Jared Medwar/Apex, N.C. had four goals and one assist, to lead Hampden-Sydney College to a 25-9 non-conference men's lacrosse victory past William Peace (N.C.) University on Saturday at Legion Stadium in Wilmington, North Carolina. Junior Jack Hayden/Apex, N.C. added four goals for the Tigers (5-2) against the Pacers (3-3).
Others scoring for H-SC included sophomore Harry D'Agostino/Massillon, Ohio (2g), freshman Max Koontz/Winston-Salem, N.C. (2g), classmates Aidan Byrne/Charlotte, N.C. (1g, 1a), Sean Duffy/Ambler, Pa. (1g, 1a) and Marshall Flagg/Williamsburg (2a), sophomores Reilly French/Frederick, Md. (1g) and Palmer Jones/Chester (1g), freshmen Bobby Clagett/Brandywine, Md. (1g), Billy French/Cumberland (1g), Hunter Harrington/Virginia Beach (1g) and Logan Mitchell/Mt. Pleasant, S.C. (1g), sophomores Carter Brown/Annandale (1a) and Charlie Doetzer/Holly Springs, N.C.
