Hampden-Sydney Lacrosse defeated the William Peace University Pacers 23-5 on Wednesday afternoon.

THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • H-SC scored four goals in the first three minutes of the game, two courtesy of Jared Medwar
  • William peace ended the shutout just over three minutes later, but the Tigers scored the last six goals of the quarter to lead 10-1 after 15 minutes
  • H-SC would go on to add five goals apiece in the second and third quarters along with a three-spot in the fourth

  • Austin Abourjilie scored three times
  • Nick Shelton stopped 10 shots

STATS OF THE GAME

  • Hampden-Sydney held advantages in ground balls (47-21), face-off wins (24-7), and shots (49-19)
