Brown, Levin Notch 100th Career Point in Win Over Shenandoah

Hunter Brown and Ian Levin each recorded their 100th career point in a 17-8 road win over Shenandoah University on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Tigers scored the first three goals of the game, and Shenandoah got on the board for the first time at 8:59
  • The two teams traded man-up tallies to end the half to provide H-SC a 4-2 advantage
  • Tilghman Sanders found the back of the net at 12:29 to draw the Hornets within one, but H-SC reeled off the next five scores of the quarter, including two each from Duncan Morris and Levin, to go into halftime up 9-3
  • The Tigers kept it rolling into the third quarter, scoring five of six to go out in front 14-4 with 3:55 remaining in the third
  • Shenandoah got on a roll and notched three straight goals in the last 1:15 to cut the lead down to 14-7 after three quarters of play
  • The Hornets pocketed the opening goal of the fourth quarter to draw within eight, 14-8, with 7:43 remaining, but the Tigers posted the last three goals of the game
