Tigers Compete in Oglethorpe Invitational The Hampden-Sydney golf team competed in the competitive Oglethorpe Invitational at Royal Lakes over the weekend, finishing 15th in the 18-team field.

Tigers Win Shenandoah Invitational The Hampden-Sydney golf team won the Shenandoah Invitational and did so in convincing fashion, finishing 20 strokes ahead of the next closest team. As a team, the Tigers finished the two-round event at 12 over par, while Mary Washington and Bridgewater rounded out the top three, shooting 32 and 37 over par, respectively.

Golf Finishes Fourth in Tom Kinder Memorial Tournament The Hampden-Sydney golf team opened its fall season with a fourth-place finish in the Tom Kinder Memorial Golf Tournament, hosted by Bridgewater College. The 36-hole event, usually held over two days, was played in full on Monday to avoid incoming weather on Tuesday. As a team, the Tigers shot ten-over par in the 15 team field. Guilford won the event at an impressive 16-under par, while North Carolina Wesleyan (+4) and Ferrum (+8) rounded out the top three.
