ASHLAND, VA-Hampden-Sydney golf won its third tournament of the fall and second straight, winning the Ted Keller Invitational on Sunday and Monday. The Tigers finished 30 strokes ahead of second place finisher Greensboro and 31 strokes ahead of North Carolina Wesleyan. Senior Rick O'Connell (Goochland, VA/Goochland) took home medalist honors after shooting three under par (69, 68) on the 70-par course.
Junior Drew Arnold (Chatham, VA/Chatham) tied for 12 while his two rounds of 76 put him 12 strokes over par.
Junior Trey Cully (Studley, VA/Hanover) rounded out the group, placing 20 with rounds of 79 and 75.
The Tigers will wrap up their fall season on October 28 and 29 competing in the O'Briant –Jensen Memorial at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.
