HOW IT HAPPENED
- H-SC led for most of the first five minutes of the contest, but following a 14-11 advantage, Guilford reeled off a 10-0 run to go ahead 21-14 at 12:34
- H-SC continued to trail but was down only three, 40-37, at 2:11, but the Quakers scored seven of the last nine to go into the half ahead 47-39
- Guilford pushed their advantage into double digits five minutes into the second half and led the rest of the game
TIGER TOP PERFORMERS
- Kevin Quinn scored a game-high 16 points
- Guilherme Guimaraes tallied nine points and five boards
FOR THE FOES
- Marcus Curry contributed 15 points, seven assists, and five rebounds
- Carson Long added 13 points and five caroms
- Alston Thompson tallied 12 points
- Will Leckonby tacked on 11 points
STATS OF THE GAME
- Guilford recorded a 51.8% field goal percentage. H-SC shot 40% for the game, firing at a 60% mark in the first half and just 23.35 after the break.
