HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA-The #23 Tigers (15-2, 7-1 ODAC) remain on the road for one more game with a Wednesday night match up against Randolph College (15-2, 6-2 ODAC) before returning to the friendly confines of Fleet Gymnasium. The two teams have not met this year and currently stand at second and third in the conference. Tip-off is set for 7:00 pm.
Both teams have had hot starts to the season winning 15 of their first 17 games; Hampden-Sydney has returned to the Top-25 at number 23, and Randolph currently sits just nine spots out making Wednesday night a highly anticipated match up. The two teams are winning in different ways, however, with the Tigers posting an average scoring margin of 21.1 while the WildCats are outscoring their opponents by 4.3 points-per-game.
Wednesday will feature two of the top scorers in the league with Colton Hunt posting an ODAC-high 26 points-per-game, and Harrison George (Raleigh, NC/Leesville Road) ranking fifth in the league at 15.4. Both players had productive outputs in the last outing: Hunt dropped 36 on William Peace, and George notched 33 against Eastern Mennonite.
The last time these two teams met, Randolph held on for a 61-60 victory in the RAD Center on January 28, 2012.
