Hampden-Sydney Baseball Announces Changes To Opening Weekend

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College baseball head coach Jeff Kinne has announced changes to his program's opening weekend schedule due to the forecast for inclement weather.  The Tigers will still open on the road at non-conference opponent William Peace University on Saturday, February 16, though changing the start time of the scheduled doubleheader to 2 p.m. at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.  A scheduled third game of the weekend series on Sunday, Feb. 17, at Hampden-Sydney has been canceled.

Kinne also announced that the scheduled game at Averett University on Tuesday, Feb. 19, has been changed to Monday, Feb. 18, at 2:30 p.m. at Owen-Fulton Field in Danville.
