The Panthers’ Ryan Broaderick pitched a complete game shutout, holding the Tigers to just six hits. With the loss, the Tigers drop to 13-8 on the season while LaGrange improves to 24-2.

    Schedule Changes for Weekend Baseball The Hampden-Sydney baseball team will have game time changes in its three-game stint at LaGrange this weekend due to weather. Friday’s game, originally scheduled for 7:00 PM, will begin at 5:00 PM. Saturday’s double header will now start at 12:00 PM instead of 2:00 PM.

    Tigers Take 4-3 Comeback Win Over Frostburg State The Hampden-Sydney Tigers finished its three-game weekend with a 4-3 win over Frostburg State, going 2-1 on the weekend. The Tigers trailed for the first five and a half innings, but used one big inning to take the win. Hampden-Sydney improves to 12-7 on the season while Frostburg State drops to 8-8.

    Tigers Hold On For 12-8 Win Over Ferrum The Hampden-Sydney baseball team snapped a three-game skid, holding on for a 12-8 win over Ferrum on Thursday afternoon. The Tigers jumped out to an 11-2 lead after six innings, but the Panthers scored six runs over the next three innings to make the game much closer.

    Baseball Falls At Greensboro The Baseball Tigers fell in non-conference action this afternoon as Greensboro downed Hampden-Sydney 10-3. The Tigers held an early 2-0 lead, but Greensboro took a lead in the fifth, and then reclaimed the lead and scored six runs in the eighth to hold on.
