Wiles' Walk-Off Double Lifts Tigers to 4-3 Win
The Hampden-Sydney baseball started its three-game trip south on the right note, defeating the Little Giants of Wabash College in dramatic fashion with Spencer Wiles hitting a two-RBI walk off double in the bottom of the ninth for a 4-3 win.

The Hampden-Sydney Tigers extended their win streak to nine while improving to 11-2 after sweeping Southern Virginia by scores of 6-0 and 12-4. The Tigers dominated on the mound in game one and at the plate in game two.

The Hampden-Sydney Tigers extended their winning streak to seven and did so in dramatic fashion, coming from behind to beat Christopher Newport 13-12. Nathan Chamberlin hit the walk off sacrifice fly to cap off a five run ninth inning.

The Hampden-Sydney baseball team extended its win streak to six while improving to 8-2 on the season with 15-5 win at Ferrum Wednesday evening. The Tigers had another strong day at the plate, recording 15 hits.

Tigers Win Fifth Straight 9-6 Over Wesley, Sweep Wilcox Tourney
Hampden-Sydney baseball swept the competition in the Floyd B. Wilcox Memorial Tournament, capping off the three day event with a 9-6 win over Wesley. The Tigers again hit the ball well, with 14 hits on the day; more impressively all nine batters recorded at least one hit.

The Tiger baseball team remained hot at the plate, using 14 hits to win its fourth straight game in a 12-7 decision over Moravian in the second day of the Floyd B. Wilcox Memorial Tournament. With the win, the Tigers improve to 6-2 on the season while the Greyhounds fall to 1-1.

The Hampden-Sydney baseball team stayed hot in the first game of the seventh annual Floyd B. Wilcox Memorial Tournament, defeating #17 Keystone 9-4 for the team’s third straight win. With the victory, the Tigers improve to 5-2 on the season, while Keystone falls to 0-1.

Hampden-Sydney secured its third win in as many days, with an 8-2 victory over Ferrum College at Ty Cobb Ballpark Monday afternoon. Senior Hunter Lewis picked up the win on the mound after pitching five scoreless innings, striking out eight.

Baseball Announces Changes to Winter Hitting Camp
The date for the Baseball Winter Hitting Camp has been changed from Friday, January 3rd to Saturday, January 4. The camp is will take place in Kirby Field House. The new time is from 2-8 PM. The cost is $100; HSC employees get a $25 discount.
