Athletic Training

The athletic training staff at Hampden-Sydney College is under the direction of Andy McPherson. Under McPherson's leadership, the Hampden-Sydney Athletic Department sponsors a comprehensive sports medicine program for the benefit of student-athletes. The sports medicine team consists of the athletic trainers, health center, team physician and team orthopedic surgeon. All of these professionals work in coordination with one another to ensure all athletes at Hampden-Sydney receive prompt and proper medical care.
