Jim Ferris of the Philadelphia 76ers

Jim Ferris joined the Summit training staff as an intern in the summer of 2002 as a Kinesiology-Exercise Science Major out of West Chester University.  Over the years Jim has held every position at Summit from intern to manager and has worked at all three Summit locations.  He acted as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2003-04 and was a Head Strength coach for the organization in the 2006-07 Season.  Jim has also assisted with Saint Joe's University Mens and Womens Basketball conditioning.  During the summers at Summit Jim has been responsible for the Pro Training Circuit which has a clientele containing Jameer Nelson (Orlando Magic), Kyle Lowry (Memphis Grizzlies), Kyle Korver (Utah Jazz), Dwayne Jones (Cleveland Cavaliers), Alvin Williams (Toronto Raptors), Matt Carroll (Charlotte Bobcats), John Christmas (Philadelphia Wings) and many other NBA, NHL, NLL and Division 1 athletes.

For the past 3 seasons Jim has been responsible for the strength and conditioning program for the Hampden Sydney College men's soccer team as well as the coordination and development of strength and conditioning programs and seminars for Elite Soccer Camps, LLC.

In the Philadelphia area, Jim has ran team contracts for Saint Joe's Prep, Germantown Academy, Academy of Notre Dame, The Haverford School, Monsignor Bonner, and Saint John Neumann Goretti High School.  Jim also has contracts with the AAU Comets and the Duke's Lacrosse Team which have produced many area division 1 Lacrosse athletes.
